DUES information!

What exactly are dues for?

$140 may seem like a lot of money, yet virtually every high school nationwide has senior dues to cover all of the special events that make senior year so great.

Your $140 allows us to purchase the following items and events:

*Yearbook
*Graduation Ceremony (including space rental, AV equipment, food, balloons, flowers, brochures, tickets, etc).
*Diploma Case
*Cap and Gown
*Senior '10 T Shirt (with signatures on back)
*Senior BBQ
*Senior Gift

IF you pay your dues late, we don't have enough money to purchase on time, and this could affect the quality of our senior gift, etc. If we don't have money on time, we still have to pay the vendors, which would often require borrowing from another fund. There is a penalty for late payments.

Here is the dues schedule for the year.

Early Bird - By Oct. 15 (Some students took advantage of the $125 Early Bird special)

Normal Dues Rate: By November 30 (You still have time to pay the $140 dues).

December (1 month late): By December 23, dues are $160.

By January 30: $180

By Feburary 28: $200

By March 30: $220

Dues paid between April 1 and graduation: $240

Don't wait! The more you wait, the more you pay. Many of you say you don't want to pay dues because you're not sure you will graduate. The ceremony is just a small part of dues. You will still get a T Shirt, Yearbook, Diploma case when you due receive your diploma, and participation in the events! There will also be several "Dues Only" events and privileges for seniors throughout the year.

And remember, you cannot walk in the graduation ceremony without paying dues! Pay Mr. House today!

Welcome to our new blog!

Dear Seniors,

Welcome to our special blog -- your resource for information about senior year. If you ever forget the link, I have made it available and public so you can search on google, etc.

You can also search within this blog, so in a few months, if you want to find more information about the Virginia Beach trip, you can use the search toolbar, and find all the posts about Virginia Beach.

Again, Welcome and Enjoy Senior Year!
